Western Stars Holiday programme & After school care programme, Western Stars Sports Programme, Community Family Support Worker (and budgeting assistance), Whanau Development Worker, Neighbourhood and Youth Advisors, Midwifery clinics, Plunket clinics, Family Events, Community Sports Equipment pool, Kotahi Playgroup, City West Activity Centre, fruit and vege co-op, community service hours completed
How much are the fruit and vege packs and what do we get in them?
Cost for fruit and vege packs $10.00.
The pack contains three fruit and three veges

We have 5 network meetings a year at the Western Community Centre.

Do we offer any services for men?
We don’t run any services specifically for men but our family services, Health clinics, Events, Youth and children programmes, Senior services, ESOL, Neighbourhood support and Community Education are available to everyone regardless of gender. We also have a high turnout of male citizens to our Community Forums and a large majority of our volunteers are men.
What's available for Seniors?
Tai-Chi Every Tuesday and Friday 10.30-11.30am, $2 per class

Western Stars

How much does the Holiday programme cost for the week?
$70.00 Per child
$10* Late for late enrolments
* Late enrolments are unpaid enrolments or late enrolments after 5pm Thursday before the start date of the programme.
What time does the programme start and finish?
The holiday programme stars 8.30am and finishes at 5.00pm. Children are not accepted before 8.15am as we aren't open and will be setting up.
Where is the holiday programme based?
The programme is based at Hamilton's Fraser High School Gymnasium.
What do my children need to bring to the programme?
Children need to bring along Footwear, Sunhats, Sunscreen and a drink bottle each day of the programme. Children are required to bring along Morning tea, Afternoon tea and lunch.
Does the programme run for one week or two weeks?
The programme only runs for the first week of school holidays.
What if my child needs to take medication during the programme?
If your child needs to take medication during the programme a medication form needs to be filled out by the parent/caregiver to help us monitor his/her medication, ask our WCC reception for this form.
Do we run a After school care programme?
We have a After school care programme that is based at the WCC sports complex.
